This Amanco Hired Man was first engine restoration. This took me over a year to complete after an initial 3 months soaking in oil to start freeing it up.
Included are pictures of my stationary engines, model engines and other projects that might be of interest to others who like to get their hands dirty and make something out of nothing or restore a heap of rusty junk.
I have included information about the engines and links to other sites that I found useful when restoring or researching engines.
During the restoration process, I build up library of information on each engine and fully document and photograph steps taken.
